We offer this small group, 4 hour tuition, for just £35 thanks to the generosity of textile specialist Christine Anderson who wavers her fee to support The Plane Tree!

Bring your own machine along and Christine will take you back to basics so that you can really get to know how your machine works. You will create a tote bag, usually with a zipped internal pocket, allowing you to try a number of techniques. with Christine helping you to troubleshoot any issues as they may arise.

You need your machine and some thread. You can bring along a metre of cotton or polycotton fabric of your choice, or use any from our offcut stash. Upholstery or similar non-stretchy fabrics work well.
